Lindsey Haun Plays Evan Rachel Wood's Fanged Lesbian Love on 'True Blood'

Hot on the heels of Evan Rachel Wood's casting as Sophie-Anne, the lesbian vampire queen of Louisiana, True Blood has found her a play thing: Lindsey Haun will play Sookie Stackhouse's (Anna Paquin) cousin Hadley Hale.

According to HBO's casting character description, Hadley is a "fresh-faced twentysomething-year-old country girl (who) is locked in a steamy clinch with the vampire queen. The dazed Hadley has been seduced into a whole other world — but she still feels the pull of her human roots."

Haun, a singer-actress whose bandmate Sarah Carter was featured as the guitar player in a previous episode of the drama, will appear in the last two episodes of the current Season 2.

In a posting on her MySpace blog, Haun said she "technically" filmed three episodes of the show and worked with Stephen Moyer (Bill), Alexander Skarsgard (Eric) and Wood.

Wood's first episode airs Aug. 30 where she becomes True Blood's first openly lesbian character.

With the openly gay Alan Ball (American Beauty, Six Feet Under) writing and directing episodes of the series based on Charlaine Harris' best-selling books, the series is notably gay but has yet to feature any steamy girl-on-girl action.

While she's most noted for her musical talents, fronting her current band, Haun Solo at the Cat Club on the world-famous Sunset Strip in Hollywood, Haun's has been acting since the age of 3, with credits including appearances on Cold Case, Criminal Minds, Without a Trace, 7th Heaven, Alias and the original Melrose Place.
