This year the 83rd Annual Academy Awards will be overflowing with major stars and the Best Actress nominees truly represent some of the most talented women working in film today. An outstanding year in cinema will be represented by ten Best Picture nominees and five of the most beautiful women ever to step foot in front of a Hollywood camera. Get to know the nominees.

The nominees for Best Supporting Actress are True Grit's Hailee Steinfeld, The Fighter's Amy Adams and Melissa Leo (who played Helena's ex on The L Word), Helena Bonham Carter for The King's Speech and Jacki Weaver for Animal Kingdom.

The Kids are All Right scribes Lisa Cholodenko and Stuart Blumberg are nominated for Best Original Screenplay.

Fighting it out for best picture are SheWired fave Black Swan, The Fighter, Inception, The Kids Are All Right, The King’s Speech, 127 Hours, The Social Network, Toy Story 3, True Grit, and Winter’s Bone.

But all eyes will be glued to the screen when these five gorgeous nominees go up against each other for the Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role:
