Funny woman with the foul mouth Sarah Silverman has been tapped to guest star on an upcoming episode of CBS’s Julianna Margulies starrer The Good Wife, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

There are no details regarding Silverman’s character but following relatively sagging ratings Tuesday for the critically acclaimed legal drama the show’s writers Tweeted, "BREAKING NEWS for those of you who are still here with us: Sarah Silverman will guest star in Episode 222."

Silverman joins a long list of Good Wife guest stars including America Ferrara, Michael J. Fox, Anika Noni Rose, Mamie Gummer, Ana Gasteyer, Carrie Preston and more…

THR also reports that Raising Hope’s Martha Plimpton has confirmed she will guest star on a third episode of the show.

With no details regarding Silverman’s character that leaves the singularly-minded viewer to cross her fingers and hope she’ll play a lesbian stand-up comic with a secret, and the hottest investigator on television Kalinda Sharma (Archie Panjabi) goes undercover to discover it.
