Sharon Stone to Compare Gun Size with Mariska Hargitay On 'SVU'

Femme fatale Sharon Stone is going to court. Again.

The Basic Instinct vixen is heading to NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit for a four-episode arc set for April, where according to Entertainment Weekly, she will play a former cop-turned-prosecutor.

Both Stone and the drama have a history of stunt casting. Sara Gilbert, Ellen Burstyn, Mary Beth Evans and Rosie Perez are among those who have appeared on Law & Order: SVU.

Stone, meanwhile, previously played an attorney on ABC's The Practice, a role for which she won a guest actress in a drama series Emmy. She's also guest stared on Will & Grace and Huff. But perhaps one of Stone's best small screen moments came when she played Fran, Ellen DeGeneres' partner, in 2000's If These Walls Could Talk 2.

Little is known about Stone's arc, but considering her on-screen history with Michael Douglas, DeGeneres and others, we can only imagine the sparks that would fly when she questions Mariska Hargitay's Detective Olivia Benson or Christopher Meloni's Detective Elliot Stabler in the crime procedural.

Meanwhile, the guest casting on L&O: SVU continued, as former Oz lovers Lee Tergesen and Chris Meloni will appear in an upcoming episode, also according to Entertainment Weekly.

Tergesen will play a deranged religious zealot suspected of murder and will have "lots of sweaty interrogation scenes between Meloni and Tergesen," upping the drama's gay factor!
