There is a moment in just about every workday when we come across something sexy, gratuitous and completely pointless that we wish we could post but don't under the auspices of there being nothing lesbian about it and often there being no redeeming value. Well, we at SheWired have made an executive decision to just throw any of our pseudo-feminist caution to the wind and to just post our fave shot of the day, whether it be sexy, salacious, or just because...
One of the most celebrated actresses of this or any generation, Kate Winslet, tops Glamour Magazine’s ’50 Most Glam’ list but the great performer comes off more genuine and humble than super glam in the insightful interview.
The accompanying photographs definitely prove the woman is a glam goddess.
Always upfront about her weight and body image, Winslet shares, "[People] would say... 'You’ve got such a beautiful face,’ in the way of, like, ‘Oh, isn’t it a shame that from the neck down you’re questionable.'

No matter the criticism though, Kate says she’s ruled out any plastic surgery. “I have never tried any of that stuff…. I don’t have parts of my body that I hate or would like to trade for somebody else’s or wish I could surgically adjust into some fantasy version of what they are.”
When the Glamour points out Winslet frequents unkempt and down dressed characters in her career, she explained, “It’s my chance to challenge myself to the fullest, which is one of the great joys about this job…. When the award-wining actress discusses her children, it’s clear where her core values come into play.“The challenge is making sure that they’re never treated different just because I sometimes am. I always want them to be regular kids who are grateful and respectful of other human beings. I want them to know that when we fly first-class, that they are lucky. The highest compliment I could ever receive about my kids—and I can say that this does happen frequently—is when the in-flight crew say to me, ‘Your children are wonderful. They are so well-behaved.’ Every time I am told that, I could weep.”
Airline employees and fans everywhere just earned a whole new level of respect for the most glamorous girl in the movie biz.
