'The Voice': Beverly McClellan Nails Live Performance of Melissa Etheridge Hit- Video

Suited in a military jacket, red plaid kilt, and black boots, McClellan moved comfortably on stage, and despite a cold, belted the Melissa Etheridge's "I'm the Only One" flawlessly. Adam Levine admits McClellan is “the one who got away.”

Tuesday’s first live episode of The Voice opened with an amazing number performed by coaches Blake, Cee Lo, Christina, and Adam singing Queen.

It was Beverly McClellan of “Team Christina,” however, who looked like the veteran on stage during her performance of Melissa Etheridge’s “I’m the Only One.”

Suited in a military jacket, red plaid kilt and black boots, McClellan moved comfortably on stage, and despite a cold, belted the passionate number flawlessly.
It was no surprise to the judges, though. Cee Lo praised her professional performance and natural presence. Adam Levine lets out a heavy sigh and admits McClellan is “the one who got away.”

McClellan’s performance was the best of the night. Dia Frampton received amazing reviews as well, but when someone’s voice gives you chills like McClellan’s can, all other competition has to learn to settle for second place. McClellan definitely nailed it.
