'Weeds' Delivers a Mary-Louise Parker Lesbian Make-Out Scene!
Showtime finally answers our prayers! No, I am not talking about Romi and Kelsey’s scissoring scene in the latest episode of The Real L Word. It’s the only thing better than real lesbians: Nancy Botwin (Mary Louise Parker) in a lesbian make-out session with her cellmate Zoya (Olga Sosnovska)!

That’s right, kids. In the most recent teaser for Weeds Season 7, we witness weed-dealing queen Nancy’s romance with her Russian “roomie.” And while Nancy is less than thrilled to be released from prison for reasons other than leaving Zoya behind, we are just going to pretend those reasons don’t exists, because this lesbian love affair has some serious potential.
Check out the teaser:
The new season premieres June 27 (now is the time to clear any scheduling conflicts if you haven’t done so already), and begins a few years after where Season 6 left off. Nancy is being released from prison - where she went to escape Esteban (Demian Bichir) - having completed her three-year stint in Federal lock-up for the murder of Pilar Zuazo.
Needing to restart her weed dealing business from scratch – and while on probation in a super-strictly monitored halfway house – Nancy begins anew in New York. Luckily (for us as viewers, and for Nancy who needs all the luck she can get), Zoya’s brother Demetri Ravitch (Pablo Schrieber) will supply Nancy in her newest venture. Fingers crossed that this leads to more scenes like this latest preview.
In case anyone plans on watching any of the other story lines this season, the boys in the Botwin family – Silas (Hunter Parrish), Shane (Alexander Gould), Andy (Justing Kirk) and Doug (Kevin Nealon) - are heading to NY after camping out in Copenhagen. Little Stevie, who is now four years old, was in the care of Nancy’s sister Jill Price-Grey (Jennifer Jason Leigh) who returns this season as well.
Although not quite up to snuff with Helena’s romp during Season 5 of The L Word (which I posted below for your viewing pleasure…. You’re welcome), this jailhouse make-out scene definitely doubled my excitement for the return of Mary Louise Parker – ahem, I mean Weeds.
