Beginning in 2007, Mother Monster meticulously goes over twenty different outfits and shares details on wigs she never took off, working with Beyoncé, shoes that were stolen backstage, the meat dress, the bulletproof outfit she wore to President Biden's inauguration, and so much more. 
"All of these moments in my life represent something deep to me. I felt so misunderstood for so long," Gaga reflected. "People say all the time they think I hid in fashion. But I was never hiding. I was screaming."

Qween Jean made history at the 2026 Tony Awards as the first openly transgender person to win a Tony Award, taking home Best Costume Design of a Musical for her work on Cats: The Jellicle Ball. The political activist and designer was also nominated in the Best Costume Design of a Play category for Liberation. She took home her award before the night's festivities and delivered an impassioned speech on stage.
"This experience has been monumental. We are here for the legacy of queer people, trans people," she said. "We are taking up space in ways we have to take up space. We have to shift the paradigm. So I just want to say, thank you all so much for this incredible honor. The world right now is deeply, deeply combating so many ailments, and we know as a society that when we come together, we can make real, permanent change."
