Britney Spears Is Engaged, Octavia Spencer Wants Her to Sign a Prenup

Britney Spears is engaged!

The 39-year-old pop star announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari over the weekend on Instagram. "I can’t f*cking believe it," she wrote alongside ring and heart emojis.

Spears' controversial conservatorship has been under the public eye as of late and earlier this year, she finally spoke out about it in court, saying it "was robbing her of making life-changing personal decisions, such as getting married or having more children." She's been in the conservatorship since 2008.

In light of all that, the engagement announcement is even more of a cause for celebration. While most comments were simply congratulating the two and Spears' newfound freedom, one actor has some smart advice for the pop star.

Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer warns Spears to "make him sign a prenup." The succinct comment currently has over 51,000 likes. 

Asghari is taking all the comments in good fun.He responded hilariously on his Instagram story. “Thank you everyone who is concerned about The prenup! Of course we’re getting iron clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection incase she dumps me one day,” he wrote alongside laughing emojis.
