Andy Cohen Reveals Why He & Anderson Cooper Have Never Dated

Why haven't Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper ever dated? 

It's a question on many people's lips. The two have been friends for years, have obvious chemistry, and are currently both single. 

So why not? Cohen answered that question The Howard Stern Showwhere he was asked what kept the two “from falling in love with” each other

“We’re not in that place,” said Cohen. “It’s not what our relationship is based on. We’re just friends. That’s not a part of it.”

Cohen admitted Cooper is “a handsome guy,” but their relationship has passed that point. “At this point, we know each other too well,” he said. “We’re not attracted to each other that way.”

Cooper has spoken on this as well, even revealing that the two met in the 1990s through a blind date but romance was swiftly taken off the table when Cohen broke his "cardinal rule" on an introductory phone call.  

"He asked about my mom within the first minute of talking to me,” said Cooper. “It wasn’t even a question. It was just like, ‘Your mother’s Gloria Vanderbilt.’ I was like, OK, this is not happening.”

So it looks like the two will remain just friends, but that doesn't make their relationship any less titillating. We're still watching the clips of the two drunkenly hosting New Year's Eve.
