Fire Up Your Jeff Goldblum Obsession With This 'thank u, jeff' Parody

"He taught me love, he taught me patience, he taught me pain, Jeff Goldblum's amazing."

The message of Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” may be that the men in her life have taught her a lot but now she’s going to spend some time getting to know herself instead, but James Corden has a slightly different thought process in his version of the song.

Make everything about Jeff Goldblum.

It’s a difficult premise to argue with, and “thank u, jeff” makes a strong case regardless.

The video takes some cues from Ariana’s original, pulling the “burn book” and stage performance from Mean Girls. But instead of a scrapbook of exes and a stage full of Christmas elves, Corden’s version sees him cradling a scrapbook of Goldblum’s film roles and singing with backup dancers dressed as those characters — and as T-Rexes, of course.

After the pillow fights and ground humping all in Goldblum’s honor, the two men have a short conversation in the dressing room.

“Can I ask… That journal, with all the pictures of me, is that like, yours… have you had that, for awhile? You compiled that?” Goldblum asks.

“No…” Corden tries to deny. “…I’ll get rid of it.”

Check out the parody below and live out your own Jeff Goldblum fantasies through Corden.
