Bob & Peppermint Screaming About RuPaul's Fracking Is Now a Meme

The two Drag Race alumni had a hysterical, instantly-iconic moment during a recent Instagram Live.

RuPaul's Drag Race icons Bob the Drag Queen and Peppermint kiki'd on Instagram Live the other day and one accidental mention of RuPaul's shady dealings sent the two into a hysterical fit of laughter that has now gone viral.

"Did you see that article from Instinct Magazine?" Peppermint asks Bob.

"Oh, the fracking?"

"No, no, not that," says a wide-eyed Peppermint holding up an "X" with her fingers as the two erupt into screams.

In a March interview with NPR, RuPaul seems to admit to fracking on his Wyoming ranch. "A modern ranch, 21st-century ranch, is really land management," he says. "You lease the mineral rights to oil companies. And you sell water to oil companies. And you then lease the grazing rights to different ranchers."

That is, in fact, fracking, a highly controversial and environmentally destructive way to extract oil, minerals, or water from the earth.

While the quote quickly went viral and people began to drag him online, the Drag Race girls remained eerily quiet on the controversy. Going off of Bob and Peppermint's reaction, it seems like the topic is strictly off-limits.

But the IG Live moment has already become a meme:

Oh internet, never change. As far as this meme goes:
