Get her Jade!

Jade Jolie who brought her drag to the world first on season five of RuPaul’s Drag Race and then season four of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula is making news again today. This time she’s opening about who she really is underneath all the glamor and filth. Jade has come out as trans.

She shared the news on X (formerly Twitter) writing, “Deciding to choose myself and move forward with my transition.”

The outpouring of love and support from the fans (and her fellow RuGirls) was overwhelming — as it should be!

Jade follows in the (sparkly high-heeled) footsteps of several Drag Race alumni who have come out as trans both while on the show and since its airing. Most recently Adore Delano shared her truth on Instagram sharing that she has been transitioning. Eureka O’Hara also recently celebrated her legal name and gender change in March.

It’s a beautiful thing every time someone loves themselves enough to embrace their truth. Congratulations Jade! Go get her.
