Video game streamer and Twitch personality Robin Torkar just came out as a transgender woman!

In an emotional note posted to both Twitter and Instagram, Robin shared the news with fans, stating that he is still using he/him pronouns for the time being but is excited to share this journey with others.

"I’m becoming…a trans woman!" Robin wrote in his announcement. "It’s still very early on in the process, I’m still almost in disbelief."

He continued:

"For now I’m still going by the name Robin and I’m still using he/him pronouns but I’m choosing to bring you in the loop early and hopefully you’ll want to join me on this journey!"

Known better by the username pixlpit (on Twitter and Instagram), pixl_pit(on Twitch), and betapixl (on YouTube), Robin is best known by fans as a video game streamer and as an editor (and close friend) of Irish YouTuber/vlogger JackSepticEye. 

When Robin shared his coming out news on social media, Jack was one of the first people to congratulate and welcome him!

"So incredibly proud of you," Jack wrote in a tweet reply to Robin. "I am with you 100% of the way and your bravery has been inspirational. So excited to see your journey."
