Here Are All The Queer Events Happening In May

You smell that? That’s the sweet stench of Pride Month — and it’s edging closer to us. If you are anything like I was growing up, hearing people talk about Pride Month invigorated my soul to new heights. My small Texas town wasn’t exactly keen on showing love for LGBTQ folks, so I had to take finding the nearest celebration into my own hands.

Thankfully, Gay Pride Calendar made it incredibly easy for queers across the world to know where the nearest celebrations will be — no Pride Month necessary. Whether you’re living in the United States or abroad, this calendar is a lifesaver.

“The Gay Pride Calendar is a joint initiative that seeks to improve the quality of life of the LGBTQIA community through education and awareness of events and social activities for them, their family and their friends,” organizers state. “The project accomplishes these goals by providing a free directory and calendar of all LGBTQIA Events that are submitted through the proper channel. We thrive on positively impacting the lives of all LGBTQIA people throughout the world.”

The calendar displays queer events, parties, and celebrations happening by U.S. city or World city. The best part is you can even filter it to show celebrations by date — which is far easier if you ask me.
