Barry Keoghan has been cast to play Jacob Elordi’s love interest in the upcoming thriller Saltburn. The film was written and directed by Emerald Fennell, who’s best known for 2020’s Promising Young Woman. The cast also features Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant, Paul Rhys, Archie Madekwe, and Carey Mulligan, among other actors.
According to different reports, Saltburn is being described as a “story of obsession.” In the movie, Keoghan’s character develops an obsession with an affluent classmate (played by Elordi). There are claims that the film features several explicit scenes and quite a bit of nudity. In fact, a source told World of Reel that Keoghan’s sex scenes in the film “will shock” audiences.
Keoghan is best known for appearing in films like Dunkirk, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, The Green Knight, Eternals, and The Banshees of Inisherin. He also played Pavel on the critically-acclaimed HBO series Chernobyl.
