Red, White & Royal Blue heartthrob Nicholas Galitzine went viral over the holidays when he posted a photo of his new muscular physique, but now the star is opening up about what it took to get him looking like He-Man for an upcoming role.
Galitzine is set to play the hunky hero of the much loved — and much meme’d — ‘80s cartoon. Masters of the Universeis a live-action adaptation that will follow Prince Adam of Eternia, who turns into He-Man and gets superhuman strength thanks to his Power Sword.
In a new interview with Vogue, the George & Mary star revealed that it took a lot of hard work to go from the twink bod that gays everywhere have been lusting after to his new muscle-bound form.
Galitzine has stayed mostly out of the public eye since September because he’s been quietly prepping for his role as He-Man. But when he posted an Instagram Story during the holidays with a photo of the 30-year-old actor and his new biceps that couldn’t be hidden by the long-sleeved shirt he was wearing, gays across the internet went feral.
Now, he’s finally giving fans a hint of what it took to achieve those gym gains that have him look decidedly more like a twunk than ever before.
“I’ve been lifting all the heavy things in the world to get into He-Man shape,” Galitzine told the magazine.
Ok, so that’s not a lot of information to go on, but if the thirsty X posts about his infamous Christmas photo were anything to go off of, your imagination will probably fill in the gaps.
If only he was already prepping for the Red, White & Royal Blue sequel, and one of those “heavy things” he’s been lifting was his hot costar, Taylor Zakhar Perez. We can dream, can’t we?!
