Nicky Doll is clapping back!
The Drag Race France host is known for serving top-tier looks on TV, but she's opting for a more laid-back approach at certain events alongside her Drag Race sisters.
At a recent premiere for Stop That Train, Doll teamed up with Kandy Muse and Jackie Cox to troll their Drag Race fans by wearing shirts that say 'I'm in drag.' This only fueled the discourse by Lushious Massacr after calling out Bob the Drag Queen and Monét X Change for not getting in drag at public events.
"The girls want us to be in drag at all times! When the summer is hitting, I'm invited as a guest, and there's no check around, I might show my boy self and that's okay. I'm still a professional drag queen! I don't think Gaga wears a blonde wig every time, so leave me alone," Doll tells Out.
Doll even admits that she created the now infamous T-shirts for the Stop That Train premiere and she's even selling them as part of her merch now.
"It was my idea! I love to troll people. It's available in my merch. You can be lazy if you want to. The amount of RuGirls who asked me to send them one! Everyone wants to be part of the lazy wagon. At the end of the day, it's just drag, so let's relax. When I started, I was in drag the entire time. Mama, I'm tired! It's expensive. If you wear it three times, fans say they've seen it before and want something new. Can I pay my rent?!"
For fans who are hoping to see Doll serve high fashion, then they must tune into the current season of Drag Race France. Now in their fourth season, the show is continuing to make a global impact.
"We've been very successful! It feels like a new chapter with a cast that's just as talented. I'm so amazed by these queens. If I'm entertained, I know that you are. The girls are clocked in."
