Lexi Love reveals she's lawyered up to fight for her name (exclusive)

The RuPaul's Drag Race alum is heading to the courtroom.

Court is now in session.

After Lexi Love was accused of allegedly violating copyright by a self-identified "AI Architect and Sustainable Fashion Entrepreneur" with the same name, the RuPaul's Drag Race alum is lawyering up and heading to court.

Love has kept her fans updated as the legal drama unfolds in real time. The star has lost multiple gigs, income, and social media accounts as a result of the legal dispute. As a result, Love had to start a GoFundMe to raise funds and hire an attorney to help her keep her name.

"Who makes it to the top four of Drag Race and opens a GoFundMe? I'm the biggest loser. Baby, I lawyered up! The community turned out for the doll! Thank you to the public, the fans, and the haters," Love tells PRIDE.

Although Love has had a tough time dealing with the legal drama this year, she's determined to win this fight. After all, she's having an incredible year traveling the world and even attending A-list events like the MTV Video Music Awards and Emmy Awards.

"We are now in proceedings! Baby, she's going to be Lexi Love for now and forever. I went to the Emmys and I want to attend the Oscars for doing something that's worthy on an Oscar. That's my next big girl goal"

Besides the VMAs and Emmys, Love just attended the celebration for National PrEP Day by MISTR at The Abbey Food & Bar in West Hollywood and reminded everyone in the LGBTQ+ to take care of their sexual health.

"It is probably the most important thing for people of our community. It's time to get rid of this thing! Know your status. Know your PrEP. Be prepared and have fun!"
