Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci are all reprising their respective roles as Miranda Priestly, Andy Sachs, Emily, and Nigel on The Devil Wears Prada 2 — which just dropped a brand-new teaser that has the gays shaking in their Prada boots.
Director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna are attached to this sequel, which is scheduled for May 2026. The film also "introduces an all-new runway of characters including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak, and Conrad Ricamora."
The Devil Wears Prada 2 opens in theaters on May 1, 2026.

There is also a cinematic history of sapphic sanguines seducing women, disposing of men, and generally breaking out of their gendered social confines one bloody bite at a time.

We love rom-coms for the happily-ever-after, the fun tropes (think the meet-cute and enemies-to-lovers), and the lovable characters. But when you queer those fan-favorite tropes, things get even better.

There really is no such thing as too many lesbian and sapphic movies. We love the romantic period dramas, the comedies, the lesbian outlaw films and erotic thrillers, and even the spooky sapphic fare. So of course, we can’t get enough of lesbian sci-fi movies.
While there are certainly more of these films than, say, lesbian Westerns, we could still use a few more (Hollywood, if you’re listening, get on it). Thankfully, there are already more than a handful of unapologetically sapphic sci-fi films you can stream right now.
