Bobby Berk has been exploring new creative endeavors since his sudden and shocking departure from Netflix's Queer Eye reboot. Now, it seems like the interior designer has found a new home for this next phase of his career — and it somehow involves actor and former wrestler John Cena.

On Wednesday, July 9, HGTV revealed that Berk will cohost a new series — currently under the working title Junk or Jackpot? — that happens to be executive produced by Cena.

"Collecting is a personal pastime that brings joy and inspiration, but it's easy to get carried away, which can negatively impact your living conditions," Berk wrote in a statement about the show. "I'm excited to help passionate people sift through their cherished items and give them reimagined spaces that will best honor what they hold dear."

Cena added, "The idea for Junk or Jackpot? was born out of a conversation I had with friends. People often wonder if their collections are trash or treasure, and this show will help them find out."

HGTV describes Junk or Jackpot? as a show about people who have been collecting, hoarding, and holding onto a lot of things in their homes — many times without any reason for it.

"Think cabinets and drawers filled with an overwhelming number of superhero figurines," the description reads. "Cramped rooms stuffed with rare puppets; and collections of dolls and miniature sets so numerous, they leave no room for life-size furniture."

In the new series, Berk will navigate the dynamics of dealing with people who really don't want to re-organize and/or give away items they've kept for a long time. As seen throughout eight seasons of Queer Eye, Berk will surely work hard and provide emotional support for the collectors featured on the show.

"I'm coming to HGTV!! Junk or Jackpot?, a new series executive produced by John Cena (yes, that John Cena)," Berk wrote in An Instagram post. "From rare puppets to dolls and superhero figurines, surprises await at every turn! Stay tuned for more. You will be able to stream on HGTV and HBO Max."

As fans flooded Berk's DMs asking if he's available to inspect their "junk," the new HGTV star shared a hilarious response:

"For those of you sliding into my DMs asking me to evaluate their 'junk'… My new show is not about that kinda junk! [laughing emoji] [face palm emoji]."

Bobby Berk's new series is scheduled to premiere in late 2025 on HGTV.
