Queer, nonbinary comic Mae Martin is set to make us laugh all over again with their upcoming Netflix comedy special SAP.

The hour-long comedy set will turn their hilarious and creative lens on “a world off its axis, from a mythical moose encounter to the gender spectrum in Beauty and the Beast,” in this new stand-up special.

Adding to its queer bona fides the special — which was filmed last December at the Vogue Theater in Vancouver, Canada — is directed by acclaimed (and out and proud) creator and actor Abbi Jacobson (A League of Their Own, Broad City).

While SAP marks Martin’s first hour-long special on the streamer, this is far from the first time that Netflix has showcased Martin’s talents. They previously made their Netflix comedy special debut with a half-hour set in COMEDIANS of the world in 2019 and went on to create and star in the critically acclaimed and award-winning series, Feel Goodand took part in the Stand Out: An LGBTQ+ Celebration special, the largest-ever gathering of LGBTQ+ comics recorded at Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival earlier this year. (Both are currently available on Netflix to stream if you need a little more Mae in your life — and really, who doesn't?)

SAP debuts globally on Netflix on March 28, 2023. Watch a sneak peek below.
