I’ve been looking over some conventional bits of relationship wisdom and see a number of things relationship experts and sex writers claim are "toxic" for gay men. Things that gay men, in theory, should never do in a healthy relationship. I’ve also realized how many of these toxic things aren't actually toxic at all. They’re actually good for gay men in a relationship to do.
So here are 8 so-called "unhealthy" things that gay men do in a relationship that are actually good for the relationship. (A number of these things don’t pertain to all gay men exclusively, but I still think they’re definitely worth mentioning...)
