bubly's #dragforallflavors campaign is helping support and amplify New York City-based drag queens and kings whose performances have been put on pause since March because of the current, ongoing global health crisis.
Over the next week, we'll be interviewing some queens and kings who will help us meet all the flavors of the holiday season, as told through drag! And next up is Egypt!
In a year unlike any other - how have you remained Proud and celebrated Pride all year long?
During difficult times like this, the thing that has kept me proud has been how no matter what has been thrown our way we have managed to keep supporting one another within our community whether it be supporting our local bars, supporting our local queens, or just being their for one another for mental support .
What do you hope your fans will feel this holiday season when they see their favorite local Drag queens and kings recognized and supported by bubly in the #dragforallflavors campaign?
I hope that everyone that sees this diverse group of people and that drag is not one size fits all. Being part of such an amazing campaign and being supported by a company like bubly shows the world that that companies are starting to recognize the importance our community makes in the world.
As you know, bubly partnered with SAGE to deliver a little extra holiday spirit to our LGBTQ+ elders. How important is it to you that we continue to strengthen connections with organizations like SAGE?
Continuing to strengthen connections with organizations like SAGE is important because places like that will be there to help other generations of LGBTQ+ elders in the future. Who’s to say that one day we won’t need assistance with our lives .
What bubly flavor (s) will we see in your Christmas stocking?
