Female Comics Hilariously Model Fall Collection on Betabrand
Fashion + Comedy! We know a thing or two about that here at SheWired, after all we did hire a comedian as a contributor to our fashion blog. Betabrand is making us proud with their Fall Comedy Collection Line.
Betabrand.com describes itself as "a fan fueled fashion-machine." It has all kinds of unique offerings including a business suit onsie (still in the voting phase — but please God, yes); disco silver basketball shorts (for the more um, daring individuals); reflective plaid button-ups (for those of you bike gang babes out there, I see you. No really, I need to see you so buy the shirt). Betabrand is a site that comfortably promotes innovative and creativeness in fashion so I was delighted to see that they used Female Comics to model and interview, while selling some of their favorite Fall threads.
The models varied in all shapes and sizes, all ethnicities, fame levels, and the like. It's refreshing to see fashion turned on its head in a smart way. Staring with this top hat babe:
How I Met Your Mother Producer Brenda Hsueh models "Gay Jeans" (also featured in our SheWired article How to Dress a Homophobe)
Comedian Danielle Stewart models this Black Sheep Wrap Sweater for 159.00
And this is just scratching the surface. Check out the video interview with the rest of the comics then head over to the site and see the individual interviews and to check out how to buy the featured products.
Congrats to all the ladies as well as Betabrand on a wonderful idea. As we say in the biz, "Killed it!"
