The Oscars are right around the corner, and with Blue Is the Warmest Color shut out of the Academy Awards, the controversy surrounding the epic lesbian love story has mostly been forgotten. But not by Funny or Die, which has now spoofed Blue with Vagina Is the Warmest Place.

Whether or not you loved the film for its artistry or you were put off by director Abdellatif Kechiche’s obsession with barely legal backsides, callisthenic-like lesbian sex, and the male gaze, Funny or Die pretty much nails the fall-out that ensued for the Cannes’ Palme D’or winner and its stars Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos.

The spoof stars Skyfall’s Bérénice Marlohe and American Horror Story: Asylum’s Lizzie Brocheré as the young lovers, with appearances by Alyssa Smith, and film critic Elvis Mitchell.
