Amanda Seyfried plays a lesbian escort in the upcoming film Chloe. She is hired to seduce Julianne Moore's husband (Liam Neeson). However, nothing goes as planned when the two women engage in a sweltering hotel-room lesbian tryst.
Directed by Canadian filmmaker Atom Egoyan --who directed Mia Kirshner in Exotica --Chloe is a sexually charged thriller about infidelity among the upper-middle class. As a young lesbian prostitute, Chloe pretends to be whoever her clients want her to be and the with the multi Oscar-nominated Moore, all bets are off.
Moore plays Catherine Stewart, a gynecologist, whom opens the film with a monologue explaining to a patient that the orgasm is a simple series of muscle contractions in response to stimulation, which is right on target for the one-of-a-kind director, Egoyan.
Based on a 2003 French movie called Nathalie, Chloe explores the complexity of sex, orgasm and good old fashion fatal attraction. But after Chloe's love for Catherine goes unrequited, the claws come out.
