Jane Lynch's character Sue Sylvester, from Fox's Glee, may have met her match! Who could possibily hold their own in a war with the most hardcore of cheerleading coaches?
None other than Saturday Night Live veteran Molly Shannon. Sources confirmed to Ausiello Files that Shannon would join the ensemble to be Sue's nemesis.
Better yet, Shannon's character, Brenda Castle, is McKinley High School's newest 45 -year-old alcoholic, pill-popping and busty astonomy teacher and badminton coach.
That's hardcore. Watch your back, Sue!
Shannon's role is definitely recurring, with the first episode including Brenda Castle to air sometime in May.
