And it just gets worse...

Not surprisingly, Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been fired from her latest film because she is not "bankable."

The part-time lesbian and full-time mess was set to play the lead role as a student working on a deserted island in The Other Side, but according to TMZ, Lindsay was axed from the project because, understandably, the film would like to actually make some money.

Writer/director for The Other Side, David Michaels, said, "Our team simply chose to move on from Lindsay and we'll soon be announcing a replacement."

Unfortunately for Lindsay, she won't be able to work with Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi or Alanis Morissette, who are in the film and did not get fired.

Before Lindsay was miraculously offered this big Hollywood role, the late actress Brittany Murphy was slated to play the title character before she tragically died of pneumonia last year.

Luckily, and just in time, Lindsay took to her Twitter over the weekend:

"Last night-never again-believe it or not she's done with the club scene I've learned my lesson-sometimes it just takes a glimpse of reality."

It looks like this hot mess may be headed for reality television.
