If it's anything like her previous projects, we know SMG will slay.

Fans of Sarah Michelle Gellar have followed her for years thanks to her notable roles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Scooby-Doo, and I Know What You Did Last Summer to name a few.

Now, the actress is tackling a challenging and mysterious role in the thrilling new series Wolf Pack.

"So often, I play these characters and you know exactly what their goal is and what they're thinking. This one... you don't know. As the layers get to reveal, you'll learn much more about who she is and what motivates her," Gellar tells PRIDE.

Gellar's characters throughout the years have resonated with the LGBTQ+ community in multiple ways, which is an honor Gellar doesn't take lightly. As an executive producer on Wolf Pack as well, Gellar is thankful to tell more queer stories.

"It's important to me. It's important to my family. With this show, we're really trying to normalize. It's usually the friend who's the gay character, but this is about the main character. It should all be on the same playing field. That was really important when that was part of the story that was pitched to me."

Although Wolf Pack is dropping the same day as Teen Wolf: The Movie, the two projects are not connected. However, each story comes from the same creator: Jeff Davis.

"This is not a spin-off of Teen Wolf, but it's from the same father. It's a different world, different characters. But, I'm sure people that are Teen Wolf fans will like Wolf Pack. It was a real pleasant experience and I think Sarah is responsible for creating such a great atmosphere on set," costar Rodrigo Santoro adds.

Wolf Pack premieres January 26 on Paramount+. To see the full interview with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Rodrigo Santoro, check out the video below.
