Come through!

Violet Chachki's shady persona not only secured her the crown on season seven of RuPaul's Drag Race, but it's also helped her flourish in her sickening career.

Beyond her accomplishments in and out of drag, the star has also found herself a true sister in her friendship with season 13 finalist Gottmik.

Over the weekend, the two were booked as DJs for the grand opening of The Tryst Puerto Vallarta and spilled on just how close they've become personally and professionally.

"We really are best friends in real life. It's not for show. There's fights. There's love. There's sex. There's magic. There's everything you could ever want. It just feels natural to turn it like that for us," Chachki tells PRIDE.

"It is once-in-a-lifetime! Who gets to travel and do this with their best friend? Does Beyoncé even have that? We're so lucky that we get to do this together and go on this journey together. It's insane," Gottmik adds.

The duo has certainly come a long way since their respective Drag Race seasons, but Chachki has never been afraid to share her unfiltered opinions of the queens on The Pit Stop over the years.

When it comes to the most recent season, Chachki didn't hold back when it came to her distaste of what was offered on the runway and in the challenges.

"These new girls have no idea what I went through. I don't watch! My brain is full of things already. I need to make space for things I care about and Mik keeps showing me clips. Stop showing me this garbage! Stop showing it to me. My brain is full! I need to save the space I have for sacred things."

Recent RuPaul's Drag Race alum including Lexi Love, Kori King, Plane Jane, Lydia B. Kollins, and Suzie Toot were quick to reply to Chachki's statement with some shade of their own. Scroll below to see their responses.

A wise queen once said - mamma this is garbage

Soon after the discourse on X begain, Chachki posted a TikTok video clarifying that she has "nothing but love and light for everything that RuPaul has done for me and for the community."

Gottmik also commented under Chachki's video saying, "The video was cut shady. Violet was saying I show her a bunch of garbage all the time not talking about [Drag Race] at all besides saying she hasn’t seen it."

PRIDE stands by its initial reporting, nothing was edited in a way that would be misleading. For full transparency, here is the full transcript of the exchange.

Ricky Cornish: So, I gotta ask you a shady question before I let you go. Violet, you are amazing on The Pit Stop. You give us a lot of shady reads.

Violet Chachki: Okay.

RC: Did anyone serve on season 17?

VC: Oh, I literally had no clue. Oh, I don't watch. Oh, no, no, no. My brain is full of things already. I need to make space in my brain for things I care about. And Mik keeps showing me clips and videos of things. I'm like...

Gottmik: Sue me.

VC: ...stop showing me this garbage.

G: No, she literally does that to me. She like goes...

VC: I go, 'Stop showing it to me!' I don't. My brain is full. I need, I need to save the space I have for sacred things.

RC: Like season 17 girls?!

VC: Like fashion shows and pool parties.

RC: I am so happy I got to chat with you both. You both are icons in our community.

G: Thank you so much, I love you.

RC: Love you both so much.

VC: Thank you, baby.

RC: Fantastic. I'll see you upstairs later. Yes, have a good one.
