Being around family members, especially the ones who don’t know much about your life, can result in conversations that involve prying personal questions that for some reason, always seem to revolve around the fact that you’re uncharacteristically not boy crazy.
Here are 10 questions every closeted lesbian dreads during the holidays.
1. So do you have a boyfriend yet?
Um, nope, I don’t.
2. Crushing on any boys?

3. Are you obsessed with Justin Bieber now that he’s single?

4. When are you going to stop spending all your time with [insert roommate's name] and meet a boy?
Since when is encouraging me to hang with boys a thing?

Probably nobody.
6. Are you on birth control yet?
Well, that got personal really fucking fast.
7. All your cousins have boyfriends; why don't you?
You know, when that time comes…
