Since it's that time when the mid-week doldrums hit we thought, "What better way to brighten up a Wednesday than with photos of lesbians and their pets?"
Earlier this year Advocate asked LGBT people to send in a random photo from their day on August 12, to become a part of the second annual A Day In Gay America photo project, and it quickly became clear that pets are big part of the lives of LGBT Americans. Below are some photos of women and their pets participating in A Day In Gay America 2011.
