A Day in Gay America The Pets Edition: PHOTOS

When Advocate asked readers to send in pictures from their day on August 12 to be a part of the second annual Day In Gay America photo project, it quickly became clear that pets are big part of the lives of LGBT Americans. Here are some photos of pets participating in A Day In Gay America 2011:

Since it's that time when the  mid-week doldrums hit we thought, "What better way to brighten up a Wednesday  than with photos of lesbians and their pets?" 

Earlier this year Advocate asked LGBT people to send in a random photo from their day on August 12, to become a part of the second annual A Day In Gay America photo project, and it quickly became clear that pets are big part of the lives of LGBT Americans. Below are some photos of women and their pets participating in A Day In Gay America 2011.

11:17AM State College, Penn. Audrey Smith and her wife were up early today (5:00 AM) to volunteer at a charity golf tournament that chose the personal care home where I am the administrator as its beneficiary this year. We came home to take a cat nap and were joined by one of our 8 cats.
