Boy Erased is the coming-of-age story of Jared (Lucas Hedges), the son of a Preacher who is outed as gay to his Evangelical Christian family and is forced into a conversion camp for gay youth. Scripted by Joel Edgerton (The Great Gatsby, The Gift), the film also stars Russel Crowe, Nicole Kidman, and Troye Sivan.
