Deitre, an up-and-coming Brooklyn glam rock band, just released their first music video for their song "I’m Out," and in all honesty, it does not disappoint!
PRIDEpreviously spoke with lead vocalist Richie Bee about what inspires his music and what he and his bandmates hope to achieve through their unique sound. (It’s worth reading the entire post here!) This time, we caught up with Richie to ask him how his identity as a gay man influences his music.
"When I write, I write about my story. My feelings. My heartbreak. My obsessions. My dreams. My search of self and individuality, as well as my search for the strength to embrace these things," Richie says.
"I am a gay man, yes," he continues. "But the more I try to breakdown this question, the more I realize we are all the same. All of these feelings and stories that I am talking about are universal."

Deitre is also having a video release party (thrown by Radio Free Brooklyn) on Thursday, March 1 at The Well in Brooklyn. Shows start at 8pm! To follow Deitre on Facebook, head here.
