Ariana Grande revealed all the details about her upcoming album on an appearance during last night's episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon—and she had a bunch of tea to spill.
Her new album is called Sweetener, and it’s set to be released sometime this summer!
"It’s kind of about bringing light to a situation or to someone’s life or somebody else who brings light to your life, sweetening the situation," she told Fallon.
She worked with Pharrell on the album along with many others, and song titles include "R.E.M.," "The Light Is Coming," and "God Is a Woman."
The first song of the album is called "Raindrops," and it’s "a cover from a small part in a 50’s [song] called "The Angel Cried."" And weirdly enough, Ariana explains, her grandpa was best friends with one of the writers of the song. Small world, right?
Anyways, at the end of the show, Ariana performed her latest single from Sweetener, "No Tears Left to Cry," for the first time on national TV, and she completely slayed.
