Famed lead singer Years & Years, Olly Alexander made promises earlier in 2018 that this was the year of the 'thirsty selfie' - and Alexander certainly isn't skimping on that vow to his fanbase.
Alexander posted some professional shots of himself sporting nothing but a jockstrap and robe for Paper Magazine. This comes at a strategic time, as Years & Years also surprised fans this week by dropping their long-awaited second album, Palo Santo.
Alexander's racy shots further push the singer's sentiments of elevating sexual liberation and showcasing the diverse spectrum of the queer identity.
Alexander himself has been vocal about his sexuality and how it works in tandem with his career. He revealed earlier this year that when Years & Years was just starting out, a particular media handler on his team was stated saying "Why does anybody need to know about your sexuality? What business is it who you go to bed with? Do you really want to invite personal questions like that? Maybe it's better to not say anything about your sexuality at all."
Alexander has spearheaded his own life and career, and we love him for it.
