Jane Lynch’s PSA to Save Arts Education: $1 Million ‘Glee’ Give A Note Campaign

Coach Sylvester’s signature harsh persona invites eligible high schools to submit videos about why their school deserves a grant to save their art programs.

Jane Lynch stars in a new PSA for the Glee Give A Note Campaign as Coach Sue Sylvester, which premiered Tuesday.

The ad is a launching point for Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment’s campaign to donate $1 million to arts education around the country. Teaming up with the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), Coach Sylvester’s signature harsh persona invites eligible high schools to submit videos about why their school deserves a grant at www.GleeGiveANote.com.

In December 2011, after two rounds of voting, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will name the 73 schools that will receive grants ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 to reinvigorate and in some cases, save their school’s arts programs.

Season 3 of Glee returns with an all-new premiere episode on September 20.

The second season of the hit musical sensation is available on Blu-ray and DVD, packed with hours of extras, special features, and never before seen scenes sure to satisfy even the hugest gleeks.

Plus, a portion of the proceeds goes towards the Glee Give A Note Campaign.
