51 Percent of Californians Support Gay Marriage
A new Field Poll shows that 51% of Californians back marriage equality and that 42% are opposed to allowing same-sex couples to wed. That’s the same margin of support Field has found in the state for the past two years, even though voters passed Proposition 8, which bans marriage equality, in 2008.
