Sandra Bullock's philandering husband Jesse James says he's sorry for the pain and embarrassment he caused her and his three children from previous relationships for the affair he had with tattoo model Michelle "Bombshell" McGee.
James said he exhibited "poor judgment" and "I deserve everything bad that is coming my way," in a statement to People on Thursday.
After reports of infidelity surfaced, recent Oscar winner Sandra Bullock reportedly moved out of the Southern California home she shares with husband Jesse James and abruptly cancelled a London premiere.
People reports that the Oscar-winning actress moved out just days before claims came out that James cheated.
Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee, a tattoo model, said she had a months-long affair with James, 40, while Bullock, 45, was out of town.
McGee told In Touch that she and James had sex repeatedly while Bullock was shooting The Blind Side in 2009.
Following the revelations, Bullock issued a statement saying she was canceling her appearance at the London premiere of the film.
In Touch released text messages between James and McGee that could be proof that the two were indeed having an affair.
Earlier in the week, McGee told the magazine she was under the impression that James and Bullock were separated.
"I would never have hooked up with him if I thought he was a married man," she said.
McGee said she originally reached out to James because she wanted to get a modeling job at his company West Coast Choppers. She said she was surprised when he then asked her to send photos to his personal e-mail.
She said she drove to meet him at his office, where she asked him about Bullock.
"He said, 'She doesn't live here. She has a house in Austin. She is filming, and I can't talk about it,'" McGee told In Touch.
She said they had sex several times in the weeks that followed.
Bullock and James met in 2004 during a tour of the set of the Discovery Channel's Monster Garage, which James starred in.
The couple married a year later, in July 2005 in a sunset ceremony at a ranch north of Santa Barbara attended by 300 guests.
Bullock just finished on a high after a successful awards' season nabbing the Golden Globe, Critics' Choice, SAG and Academy Award for her performance in The Blind Side.
