Celebrity spinner Samantha Ronson came to her girlfriend Lindsay Lohan’s defense, ranting against PETA on her blog after a PETA member doused Lohan with flour for sporting a fur stole to a Paris nightclub Friday night.

“PETA should focus their efforts on educating people on what they believe are injustices instead of seeking press via harassing those in the limelight,” Ronson blogged. “…I'm pissed at the bag of flour thrown on Lindsay last night. Not because I got powdered down, but because the girl who threw it acted like an animal herself. I take that back, it's an insult to animals to group her in with them, my dog is FAR more civilized than that person.”

Ronson’s fiery blog came in response to an animal rights activist tossing a bag of flour on Lohan as the couple made their way down the red carpet of a Paris nightclub toward the entrance, according to Entertainment Tonight. The news outlet reported that the nightclub owner dusted the flour off of Lohan and the couple proceeded down the carpet to the club's entrance, where Ronson spun for the crowd.

“I don’t wear fur but I don’t have the right to ATTACK those who do,” Ronson wrote.

Lohan’s constant companion for over a year now, Ronson wrote that while she doesn’t wear fur, she would respect anti-fur activists more if they changed their guerilla tactics and quit finger pointing at celebrities.

“I would have more respect for them if they didn't use other people to get their point across,” Ronson wrote. “Lindsay, Mary Kate, Ashley Olsen, Anna Wintour and the rest of the targeted celebrities aren't the problem, I'm pretty sure they're not the only ones wearing fur, in fact, they should be appreciated by PETA for giving them a target. If it weren't for them, who would get them press?????”

Ronson also railed about how she believes many PETA members care more about animals than their fellow man writing, “I think there are plenty of families that could have used that flour for a meal. nice job, lady.”
