Disney World’s Hall of Presidents has always been somewhat bizarre and eerie. For those of you who don’t know, the Hall of Presidents is a darkened auditorium featuring animatronic robot-statues of all 44 former US presidents. There, you can watch each president deliver a brief speech taken from things they’ve said in real life.
The thing is, all the robots look slightly (or more than slightly) off from the president they are supposed to depict. They also have these jerky moving gestures, and when watching them, you can’t help but think of an inevitable post-apocalyptic, Terminator-like scenario where the robotic presidents gain consciousness and enslave humanity. But I digress…
Donald Trump's robot was recently added to the collection earlier this week, and Twitter had an absolute field day with the news and unveiling. They proceeded to read the robot (and Trump) to filth.
