^LOL.
Despite whatever Caitlyn Jenner desperately wants to believe, Donald Trump is not our friend. With his latest attack on the LGBT community this morning (he plans to ban transgender people from serving in the United States military), we just want to reiterate the many ways President Trump has not been the ally he (and his family) believes he is in the best way we know how: with receipts.Â
1. In January, Trump's administration removed all LGBT civil rights content on the White House website.Â
2. In February, he backtracked on protections for transgender students to use restrooms in public schools that match their gender identity.
3. In April, the Trump Administration dropped Former President Obama's federal lawsuit against North Carolina for discriminating against transgender people.
4. Throughout June, Trump completely ignored LGBT Pride Month.
5. In June, he removed protections for LGBT workers against employment discrimination, then added them back the next day after the backlash.
6. In June, the 45th President spoke at an openly homophobic evangelical extremist conference.
7. This morning, Trump tweeted plans to ban transgender people from serving in the military.
And it's only been six months...
