9 Stages of Getting Dumped as Told by Rihanna

Getting dumped screws with our minds and hearts. How could it not? Heartbreak shows no mercy, crushing without an ounce of remorse. Luckily, Rihanna has been giving away some pearls of wisdom over the years to help with a brutal breakup. Gotta hand it to her. Rih Rih knows what’s up. 

Here are the stages of being dumped, as told by Rihanna.  

1. Anger 

"Got my middle finger up. I don’t really give a fuck."

2. Frustration 

"Don’t tell me you’re sorry ‘cause you’re not."

3. Crying 

"If I cry, it's because I'm very angry and I can't do anything about it because I've run into a dead end. That's when the tears would come down."

"You have to just accept your body. You may not love it all the way, but you just have to be comfortable with it, comfortable with knowing that that's your body."
