Shot of the Day: Emma Watson Goes Noir in W Magazine for Wow Factor!

Emma Watson continues to prove that she's all grown up, this time on the cover of W Magazine. The 23-year-old actor looks stunning in each shot, but we were particularly struck by this noir-inspired image from photographer Michael Thompson. 

W's Lynn Hirschberg caught up with the Harry Potter star, whose most recent film, The Bling Ring, is based on the true story of a group of teenagers who broke into the homes of starlets like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton. Watson said it was a thrill to play someone so opposite from herself — material girl and wild child Alexis Neiers, who's represented in the film by Watson's character, Nicki. 

"I was dying to play her," Watson told W. "Nicki is so different from me. How do I try and understand a young woman who loves these things so much that she is prepared to commit crimes to have them?"
