Events took a turn for the bold and shock-worthy during an interview with Adam Rippon on E!’s Daily Pop.
Host Justin Sylvester was interviewing the openly gay Olympic Figure Skater about his possible rivalry with competitor Johnny Weir, but clearly skates and feuding matches weren't the only topic of interest on the TV host's mind.
After a probing question regarding Rippon's relationship status, to which Rippon confirmed he was currently available, Sylvester took the moment to ask the Olympian out on a date as soon as he returned to LA, saying, "So I’m going to throw this out there. When you come to LA, I want to take you out on a date and grab drinks, your choice. Or I could show you my LA, and we could just kick it."
A stunned Rippon replyed with "Wow...I love it. I love to just kick it."
