9 Men Who Did the Bare Minimum at the Met Gala
Black suits? At the Met Gala? Groundbreaking...........

So the theme at this year's annual Met Gala was "Camp: Notes on Fashion," and while so many celebs came to the pink carpet and served us some fierce, campy looks, others (like these 9 men)...didn't quite get the memo.
Liam Hemsworth

Liam may look good, but that doesn't mean he didn't also do the bare minimum and not stick to this year's camp theme!
Frank Ocean

Kanye West

*sigh*
Rami Malek

Rami literally won an Oscar for playing flamboyant camp legend Freddie Mercury...and showed up in an all-black suit. (His red boots are cool though, so there's that.)
Taron Egerton

Like Rami, Taron (who is set to play queer music legend Elton John, a man known for his campy, over-the-top, colorful outfits) decided to play it safe. *cries*
Michael B. Jordan

While the sequins on Michael B. Jordan's Met Gala suit were a nice touch, this look still didn't read very camp to us. And when compared to other ensembles from the night, it's actually on the more tame, boring side.
Alexander Skarsgård

There is literally nothing camp or exciting about what's going on here in this pic. If it weren't for the pink carpet and Ciara's lewk in the background, you couldn't even tell it was taken at this year's Met Gala...
Jimmy Fallon

The late night host's brooch was a touching tribute to late design legend Karl Lagerfeld, but the rest of his outfit was, like everyone else on this life, very safe and boring.
Shawn Mendes

Like Liam, Shawn may look good, but that still doesn't mean he got the camp memo. It takes a lot more than silver suit details and and slicked-back hair to be camp!
