Out country singer from Massachusetts, Kristen Merlin, wowed The Voice judges Shakira and Adam Levine on Monday’s season premiere. During her pre-performance chat with Carson Daly Kristen spoke openly about having come out as a lesbian to her mom when she was 15.

She also said she would love to join Team Blake should he turn his chair for her, but when the country star failed to turn she was wooed by Shakira over Adam (smart girl - teehee).
