'Shooting Star' Is the Sexy New Musical We've Been Waiting For

This steamy new show about the lives of porn stars is raising money for a good cause!

A new musical helmed by Broadway director Michael Bello and written by Florian Klein, Shooting Star follows the story of a gay porn star who uses the alias Hans Berlin. Klein poured his personal experience into the show, exploring the taboo world of adult films, particularly gay porn. This musical aims to destigmatize sex and humanize those in the industry, diving into their relationships and lives off-screen.

With music by Thomas Zaufke and lyrics by Erik Ransom, Shooting Star represents lives often disregarded by society in a fun, engaging, and yes, super sexy way! The cherry on top is a portion of the proceeds will be donated to VeryHuman.org, a group helping people with HIV to lead healthy, fruitful lives.

Shooting Star is running now through June 30 at Hudson Mainstage Theatre in Los Angeles!
