The Real Housewives of Atlanta may be one of the most dramatic (and shadiest) shows in all of television, but the long-running reality program showcasing how the rich and fabulous down south live is also going to be known for making history.

According to a report by Vibe Magazine, Instagram queen Amiyah Scott has just been cast as RHOA’s first ever transgender cast member, making her the first ever trans cast member of any of Bravo’s many Housewife franchises.

The news of Amiyah’s casting comes on the heels of OG Atlanta housewife NeNe Leakes leaving the show, and although the ATL will never, ever be the same with NeNe gone, we’d totally lying to you if we said we weren’t excited for the newest season of RHOA.

Amiyah is absolutely fabulous, and we’re not the only ones who thinks so…

Will you be tuning into season 8 of Real Housewives now that Amiyah Scott has been cast? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter!
